Train Trouble for Football Fans

It'd be enough to ruin a normal day... let alone the Carling Cup Final.
Train problems held up 2,000 fans on their way to Cardiff for the final between Chelsea and Arsenal on Sunday. "Major signal failure" between Cardiff and Newport caused trains to stack up.
It has been reported that some trains were up to 90 minutes late. Although the trains weren't going anywhere, the match started on time. It just goes to show... the journey ain't over 'til the fat controller sings.
Were you there? Did your 20 minute journey take nearly two hours? Tell us here. Meanwhile, the match ended in a 2-1 victory for Chelsea.
Once the work on Wembley finishes (let's not hold our breath), most major football matches will return there. So... as long as the Jubilee Line doesn't pack it in (again, let's not hold our breath) the journey should be a tad smoother. It's enough to force a person behind the wheel.
